Your first visit to our Anchorage chiropractor will include an initial consultation, a spinal examination, and, if necessary, X-rays. This process is designed to assist Dr. Teague in determining whether you qualify for Anchorage chiropractic, and, if so, how he can help. Also, on your first visit, the Doctor may recommend therapy and, possibly, the beginning of a chiropractic regimen.
Following your first visit, you’ll be asked to make an appointment for the following business day; when you arrive for your second visit, you’ll go over, with our Anchorage chiropractor, the results from your consultation and X-rays. Dr. Teague, our Anchorage chiropractor, is well versed in chiropractic, and in the application of many different chiropractic techniques. You’ll be pleased to learn that, not only does he perform manual manipulations of the extremities and spine, but also computerized adjusting with the Pro-Adjuster. In addition, our massage therapist offers other, complimentary, techniques — all of which can enhance your experience with our Anchorage chiropractor.
We also offer a diathermy treatment with the Magnatherm. The healing process can be further enhanced with intersegmental traction therapies, our water massage therapy bed, and the Vivatek treatment.
The Vivatek treatment, enhanced by a computerized system, is constantly analyzing our patients’ progress with Anchorage chiropractic care. The on-board computer system utilizes a subsonic cellular device, infrasonic pulses, non-linear traction, and heat — all of which create a synergistic result. The advantages of this treatment are many; bulging, herniated, and degenerative intervertebral disc are identified and treated. Additionally, this therapy serves as an effective treatment for increased flexibility of the supporting ligaments and tissues, increased range of motion, pain reduction, and improved overall function.
